The cottage "Le pigeonnier" is an independent stone house in the village of Malène in the heart of the Tarn gorges. Ideal starting point for multiple activities: boat trips with boatmen from La Malène, canoes, hikes. The cottage with a capacity of 4 people is a traditional stone house with terrace located in a calm and flowery environment that fits perfectly into the typical village of Malene.   • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

l hebergement etait tres bienmais pour des gens de notre age (80 ans) les chambres a l'etage et les wc au rez de chausse n'etait pas facile la nuit. Pour le reste tout etait tres bien et les proprietaires charmants au possible.

Une semaine de vacances dans un gîte idéalement situé, au calme. Les propriétaires du gîte étaient tout simplement adorables . Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Le pigeonnier La Malene gorges du tarn

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Monsieur FAGES Annie et Michel, des personnes adorables, nous avons été gâtés par les produits du jardin, le gîte est fonctionnel, propre, avec tout le confort … on a fait de très belles visites dans les villages Voisins au milieu des gorges. Ainsi qu’une balade en canoë, les enfants ont Adorés, baignade dans le Tarn. Nous étions prêt des commerces très bonne boulangerie et boucherie. Nous avons très apprécié, la terrasse ombragée et le barbecue. Gîte à recommander.

Die Cevennen sind eine Reise wert

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, im Ort gibt es alles was man zum Leben braucht. Die Dorfkneipe hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Gerne irgendwann mal wieder

Très chouette séjour

Un immense merci à Annie et Michel pour leur accueil, leurs bons conseils et leur générosité :+) L'emplacement du gîte est idéal pour un séjour à La Malène. Nous recommandons vivement la balade des Bateliers sur le Tarn. Baignade à 5min à pied, restaurants/épicerie-boulangerie à 3min. Très belles randonnées à proximité également (roc du Hourtous, roc du Serre, roc de la Truque, sentier de la farine, sentier en rive gauche du Tarn jusqu'à Hautes Rives...). Mention spéciale pour les fameux Farçous de Michel ;+)

Dépaysement total

Superbe séjour à la Malène. Des hôtes merveilleux, des paysages sublimes. De belles randonnées en famille et des journées qui se terminaient par une baignade rafraichissante dans le Tarn. Merci Michel et Annie pour ce séjour.

Net verblijf met vriendelijke eigenaren

De woning ligt in de kloof, waardoor verschillende bezienswaardigheden in de Cevennes, Tarn en Lot in de buurt zijn, maar wel via steile en krappe wegen. De woning is goed uitgerust en biedt een goed onderkomen na de wandel en fietstochten. De binnen en buiten leef ruimte is beperkt. Prive parkeren op 100m van het huisje; de fietsen konden in de garage waar de auto van de eigenaar geparkeerd was. Regelmatig werden we getracteerd op verse Tomaten en fruit uit de groente tuin. Internet was ook goed (is slechts 1 avond uitgevallen vanwege het slechte weer, wat te begrijpen is) We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad en veel in deze omgeving gezien.

Super séjour

De merveilleuses vacances dans un coin de France sublime...Les gorges, les falaises, plus haut Les causses, les points de vue à couper le souffle, les vautours, l'Aven Amand, les fromages etc etc... Des hôtes d'une incroyable gentillesse, très prévenants et tout en discrétion à la fois. Lisez le livre de M.Fages sur l'histoire des bâteliers pour comprendre l'âme du village...Le gîte est simple et rustique mais fonctionnel et propre. Le village est magnifique et calme. Amis de la nature et des belles rencontres, foncez !

Un gîte très fonctionnel et très bien situé dans le charmant petit village de La Malène. L’accueil est très convivial (une mention pour les légumes du jardin !), les hôtes demeurent à l’écoute et en même temps très discrets.

agréable maison au coeur de la Malène

Avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison indépendante avec terrasse, très agréable le soir. Parking privé apprécié . Décor rustique avec tout le necessaire. Propriétaires très accueillants et discrets. Boulangerie/ Epicerie qui dépanne bien ( très bon pain) , ensuite il faut faire une vingtaine de km pour les courses plus importantes. donc prévoir un peu d'approvisionnement à l'arrivée. Environnement magnifique avec de belles visites à faire. Restaurants dans ce beau petit village situé le long du Tarn, activités randonnées, canoes , barques baignades à 5 mn à pieds.
