  • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

Beau gite ,spacieux,et confortable. Emplacement idéal pour visiter les gorges du Tarn et ses environs. Piscine au top . Gros ,gros bémol, invasion de mouches à l'exterieur et à l'interieur au fil des jours,impossibilité de manger sur la térrasse, vraiment trés désagréable.Dommage

Logement tout à fait adapté pour une famille nombreuse

Logement spacieux et de qualité aménagé avec des matériaux traditionnels sur mesure. Literie très confortable. Deux salles de bains. Cuisine très bien équipée. Extérieurement, le gîte se situe au milieu d'un hameau avec à proximité des bâtiments agricoles comme dans beaucoup de hameaux lozériens (ne pas oublier que la Lozère est un département très rural !). L'avantage de Cauquenas est d'être à proximité de La Malène et donc des Gorges du Tarn, de permettre de belles sorties en famille (avec ou sans voiture) ou de courir sur de longues distances dans un cadre magnifique. Nous recommandons le gîte.

Maison très agréable et propre, la piscine couverte a été un vrai plus pour les enfants qui ont pu se baigner malgré la pluie... un bémol pour les mouches, que nous aurions combattu plus efficacement si on avait découvert plus tôt la lampe anti-moustique !!!
