"The whole experience staying at Four Seasons Tamarindo was exceptional. My husband and I visited for our honeymoon and from the minute we stepped off the plane, we were treated like royalty. The staff are incredible and so accommodating, everyone remembering your name and allergies. The food is some of the best we’ve ever had, and the rooms and grounds of the hotel are the best we’ve ever seen. Could not recommend this hotel more!"

"Firstly the property was empty, the TV brand new like we had to remove the plastic. We needed a cab so the lady sent (presumably) her husband on a dirt bike into town to fetch one as they were taking awhile. Pool was beautiful rooms were clean, common area was well put together. I had asked how I prepare coffee and she said that she would take care of it. We had a wake up call at 8:50 of a girl with a pot of coffee she was dropping off. This was my only gripe and likely due to a translation error was being woken up then for that but I think it was their pursuit of going above and beyond due to my question the night before. For the price I’d say its worth it with the only sacrifice being 1km from the beach"
