La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. "The apartment is in La Mata, a suburb of Torrevieja north of the city along the coast The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with sea views (about 200m away). There is a balcony which gets the sun all morning till mid-afternoon; a nice spot to relax. It sleeps 3 - one bedroom with double bed, and sofabed in the living room. Some of the fixtures and fittings are looking a bit tired and would benefit from refurbishment/replacement; and, it has its quirks - the washing machine is in the bathroom...
