"We chose this spot as it was located centrally across from the famous Cheateau de Vizille and close to the local cafés. The apartment was clean and quiet and had a washer AND dryer, which was great as we have been travelling for weeks and often had to dry our laundry by hanging it. The host disclosed ahead of time that they did not provide towels, but they gave us towels when we asked which was kind. We have been told it’s common here and offered to buy some for the same price as room itself. It’s the 1st time we encountered this in our many travels around different countries. Not having toiletries? No problem. No dish soap? Strange having a kitchen and no dish soap to clean dished, but ok. But no...
