Très bon gite au calme avec un très bon petit déj

Le gite se situe sur un peu à l'écart du village dans un site très calme. La chambre est petite mais agréable avec un plafond vouté et une salle de bains bien équipée (douche et wc) avec un petit frigo et des boissons fraiches offertes à l'arrivée. Nous étions venus en vélo et nous avons pu les laisser devant la chambre en toute sécurité. La chambre dispose d'une entrée indépendante et nous avons pu profiter du coucher de soleil qui tombe sur la terrasse avec une table, deux chaises et des relax. Il y a une petite chapelle à visiter à pied à proximité avec une jolie vue sur les environs. Le village n'est pas très loin non plus (à pied) mais il n'y a pas beaucoup d'animation. Le petit déjeuner était très bon avec des produits maison ou locaux. Le soir, nous avons pris un plateau repas (en supplément) que nous avons dégusté sur la terrasse. Tout était très bon et fait maison. L'accueil a été très agréable.

Lovely hosts

The best thing about the property is most definitely the hosts who create a real homely feel and you do genuinely feel that they want to do what they can to make your stay the best they can. This is most obviously shown in flexibility around breakfast times and the offers of well cooked evening meals at a very fair price - for me this consisted both of a round table meal with other guests and the family; and also effectively room service (Remember to request in advance). A note is that, especially out of season, there isn't much locally including down in the village so it's certainly the easiest way to arrange an evening meal. The room itself was cosy in all the good ways - self contained but with the ability to sit outside in the early evening whilst there still was some setting sun. For me, wanting a base for walks in the area, it hit the spot exactly as needed and providing excellent relaxation assisted by the homely feel.
