Great rooms - the restaurant is really good! There are restaurants close by - but plan on getting a taxi to get closer to the Duomo. Taxis usually arrive in less than 5 minutes.
Do not book transportation through the hotel to get to and from the airport. No one met us at the airport and the driver who was supposed to take us to the airport never showed up. Not the hotel fault - but be warned.

A Very Pleasant Stay in Milan
I really enjoyed my stay at Uptown Palace. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay, and the location is very convenient, with the underground just a few minutes’ walk away.
I particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The restaurant is on the 13th floor and has glass windows all around, so you get beautiful views across Milan while having breakfast. It was a lovely way to start the day and definitely one of the things I enjoyed most about the hotel.
Overall, I had a very nice stay and would definitely choose Uptown Palace again the next time I’m in Milan. A good hotel, convenient location and a really enjoyable breakfast experience.
