Perfect location for a stylish stay

Very stylish well located hotel. We enjoyed the calm and relaxed atmosphere. Our room was small but weak appointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, right near the port and marina with its bars and restaurants.

Some reviews say that the rooms are small and too warm in early autumn. This was not our experience. The room we took was massive - so too the bathroom. The hotel was exceptionally located and easy (very inexpensive) to park. A fantastic experience in a lively area of La Rochelle

2 night stay

The hotel is centrally placed but in a pedestrianised area, so you arrive with your suitcases in tow down cobbled street. The hotel is situated where most of the restaurants and bars are only a few yards away. Plenty of places for a cheaper breakfast nearby. We really enjoyed our stay in this location.

Upon getting to our room on the third floor, we found it extremely hot. We contacted the front desk and learned air-conditioning on property was turned off for the season on October 1st. The staff was exceptional and put us in a room on the 1st floor which was much cooler. The hotel staff was exceptional and the hotel was clean, in a great location. The issue with the air conditioning seemed to be with Expedia's knowledge of the property, and not the hotel.
