The place is beautiful with excellent staff. They are very attentive and go the extra mile

Casa de Campo is lovely but this home is not. Ramona is about the only saving grace here. It is a tired property with old golf carts that you are overcharged for. They want everything paid in cash, $400 carts that don't work well, overpriced "taxi" with Maximo, etc. They tell you to buy any liquor at the duty free but it is not expensive at the Marina grocery store. This is perhaps the least expensive place to stay in an expensive location so I believe that is the problem. I would come back but I would not stay here. Also know that the thing that looks like a hot tub in the pictures is not heated so worthless in January.

Decent Rental Home

Our original reservation was for 2 weeks prior to the Covid Shutdown, Vangie was very accommodating in assisting us in moving our dates, also going along with VRBO policy. The home was clean and staff was amazing. Only criticism I will give, is our room had bats in the ceiling and when mentioned to Vangie, she told me it was due to nature. Unfortunately for Vangie, we were informed that she had previously hired a company to clean out the Guano and the bats came back. We were happy with our stay otherwise but disappointed that Vangie did not treat our comment with concern nor advise us prior to our arrival. Casa De Campo is beautiful, this home was decent...You get what you pay for. I wish Vangie the best of luck and can only hope she rectifies the issues with the home before she rents it out to another family.

Exceeded expectations

Fantastic location close to hotel, beach, marina, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our children loved the pool and their rooms. Definitely need dinner reservations everywhere - most places totally booked up day of and didn’t take walk-ins.

Wonderful Villa and Staff

Just returned from a phenomenal 7-night stay. We were a group of 7 women celebrating our milestone birthdays and we can’t think of a better place to have accomplished our mission. From the moment we made our reservation, Vangie was in touch and providing all of the information we needed to make our stay amazing. She arranged to have Alexander meet us at the airport for pick-up and he also drove us back – he was very pleasant and helped with our heavy bags. Golf carts are a must given the size of the resort and they were waiting for us when we arrived. There are 4 large rooms with individual bathrooms and great air conditioning. Every day we returned from our morning activity of walking or pickleball and Olga had the coffee brewed and made us fresh eggs, toast and cut of fruit (at our request – you buy the groceries, and she is happy to cook them) – food was served on the amazing wrap around porch where we loved to hang out under the powerful fans. The house was very clean, and the staff was happy to do our laundry and help with any other needs. The location is very central to everything – a 5-minute ride to the beach, 10 minutes to the tennis center, 15 minutes to the marina and 20 minutes to Altos de Chavon. After a day’s worth of adventure, we would gather at the cabana for sunset cocktails and appetizers – and a dip in the pool or jacuzzi. We have already recommended the Villa to friends! Thank you Vangie and team for helping us celebrate at your special home.

Awesome!

The home is beautiful. The host had amazing communication. But what really makes this villa is the staff. They were all phenomenal. During our stay, the pipes burst, and it was immediately resolved. Nena’s cooking was delicious. We really could not be happier!

Absolutely delightful!

This home is absolutely delightful. The hostess, Vangie, makes the whole process enjoyable. She ensures that Alexander, the driver, meets you at the airport and returns you to the airport at the required times. The house-staff are accommodating without being imposing and the cook is wonderful and her food preparation was delicious. We will be back!

Elemental Elegance

A group of writers gathered to retreat in this lovely villa—my 2nd time here. It was perfect for our Elemental theme—the lush grounds with blossoming bougainvillea and fruiting trees represented earth at its finest. The warm sun provided great fire energy tempered by the airily delightful breezes helped along by the many fans. The periodic rain joined the warm pool and hot tub as glorious deliverers of water. We were all inspired! Vangie was super helpful and thorough in her communications and we were grateful for her recommendations for resort activities, groceries, and a specific tour to Catalina Island. The staff were amazing—warm, friendly, helpful! We enjoyed our meals, the convenience of our great driver, Alexander, and having golf carts for rent. Even with our flat tire at las Minitas Beach, Vangie and the staff responded quickly and efficiently to rectify it. Our meals were prepared so deliciously and lovingly by Mena, though I prefer my fish less well-done. She always had extra special touches. Maria kept our rooms spotless and surprised us by doing our laundry. We loved our stay and will return!

The home was beautiful and clean. The house staff were amazing! They will make you feel like family. Property manager was very communicative and helpful and will do all they can to assist you. Just make sure if you rent carts to pre plan ahead. I hope to visit with them again in the future.

Wonderful Experience!

It was a great space (as advertised!) with all the amenities at your fingertips. The team of personnel with the house were so thoughtful and made sure that we were taken care of at all times. Great house!

The house was great and communication with the host was also great! The A/C in all the bedrooms worked perfectly. The staff at the house were also very friendly and cooked breakfast and lunch for us.
