"Clean room, lovely shower, comfortable bed. Poor amenities - 1 tea bag - decaf, no milk, asked for more and it took 45 mins to be given just 1 extra tea bag and a jug of milk. Check in to room was not available on time. Would not stay here again for the price! "

"Location was good. Hotel was cleaned very good every day. Only thing was we were in a handicapped room ( we're not handicapped) and the shower sprayed all over the room. But the cleaners were excellent. Would recommend this hotel in La Spezia. "

"Gem of a find! Heartfelt thanks to Elisa and Simon who were the perfect hosts! This place is only 5 mins walk from La Spezia train station and a great base to explore Cinque Terre and the islands. 10 mins walk from the apartment and you reach the pier to take the boat to Portovenere. The rooms are big, beautiful and very clean. Spacious bathroom well maintained and clean. Housekeeping and change of towels is once every 2 days. The apartment is housed inside a building where locals live, so you get a taste of local life. We absolutely loved our room and had the best stay, Elisa was always available on WhatsApp and we enjoyed their company! Yes, Simon you are the best :) we look forward to coming back!"

"Great location near the train station to visit Cinque Terre. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and good breakfast buffet. We stayed before we went and stayed a few nights in Monterosso and then stayed another night before taking the train to Naples on the way to Sorrento. Very convenient and clean!"

"Palazzo Sant'Agostino by The First is an excellent location for exploring La Spezia and Cinque Terre. It was a 5 minute walk to the Ferry and 15 min to the train station. Lots of places to eat ( owner shared her favorite and it was great) shop and sight see just outside the door. The bed was so comfortable it was difficult to get out. Everything was clean and comfortable."
