Bienvenidos a Casa Violeta

Welcome to the home of the last al-baitar. One of the area’s most remarkable figures once lived here: “a genius of survival, nearly illiterate, intelligent like few others, shrewd, superstitious, and likable.” In this project, we sought to faithfully and sustainably preserve a 1950s house within what may have once been an Arab home, choosing to retain the elements that have passed through it over the years. We hope you’ll take a trip back in time and try to enjoy an authentic, unique, and adventurous experience.

The house features a spacious kitchen with a dining area and a bathroom on the ground floor, and a living room with a fireplace, three good-sized bedrooms, and a large terrace on the ground floor. Two of the bedrooms are doubles with a double bed, and the third has bunk beds to accommodate a total of 6 guests (4 single bunk beds and one double bunk bed).

Guests have access to all common areas of the house, except for one storage room.

It is possible to arrange private music concerts and hire a local guide for hiking trails in the area. Anyone interested should simply contact the hosts.

The house is not accessible for people with mobility issues, as there are steps at the entrance and to reach the ground floor.

Children must be supervised by family members when using the stairs.

Smoking is not permitted indoors. It is allowed on the terrace. Private parties that disturb the peace of the area or cause damage to the property are also prohibited.
