"Apartment lovely with beautiful views, however when booked it stated there was a cafe and patisserie and bar on site, all these were closed as it was seasonal. This was not made clear. There were no staff on site, any issues had to be dealt with via email. The rental company for the apartment were very good. They had provided essential amenities and a complimentary bottle of wine, which was appreciated. The main issue we had that we booked expecting there to be places that we could purchase food."

"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather conditions that ensured a safe climb through the latter and cable sections. Our decision to stay at the Hotel Les Grands Montets was based on easy access to these hikes and the comfort of one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in --- great breakfast, fabulous spa, and an excellent staff. Highly recommend."

"Overall a good stay. The apartment is clean and adequately equipped. The beds are comfortable and the sheets and towels are good. The unit and building are older and could use some updates but everything works. Kitchen is adequate but could use some updated pots, pans and cooking tools. The property management team is helpful with any questions. The location is fantastic, the town is small but has everything and the free train is great to get around. Overall, if you want an affordable option this is a good choice. If staying in summer of 2025 be mindful of construction nearby on the ski lift that impacts the view a bit but is not too loud. "
