"We had a lovely stay in Selvista! The location was perfect, close to so many great activities on Ometepe. The property itself is beautiful, with amazing views and peaceful surroundings. Everything was clean and well taken care of, and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The food was also really good, we felt well taken care of the whole time. Definitely a spot we’d recommend to anyone visiting the island!"

"First of all, the pics shown for this property are outdated as this house is no longer yellow, it's now white. We were told that the check in was at 2pm; however, the house was not ready until 4pm, then the pics that shows multiple bunkbeds is also incorrect as there were only two mattresses directly on the floor. "I was quite disappointed with this accommodation. We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. "This is a very convenient place to stay for dining and the beach! Our room at the end of the building closest to the beach has an unbelievable view that we loved! The downside of the view is that the music from town can be very intrusive. Just bring earplugs and enjoy! The description of the hotel says they have a bar and breakfast. There is no bar and the breakfast is offsite. It’s only a block or so away so not too much of a hardship but you won’t be having breakfast in bed. We had to change our reservation by a day and while I had difficulty with Hotels.com, this property worked with us which was GREATLY appreciated! Really lovely and convenient place to stay!"
