The house has that great rustic, lodge feel with plenty of room inside, but we spent most of our time out on the massive patio and the dock. It’s a setup built for relaxing, whether you’re out by the lake all day or just sitting outside with a drink in the evening. If you want a straightforward, high-quality getaway in East Texas, this is the one."

"Perfect place to just get away. Inside was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The property owner thought of everything, from spare razors and tooth brushes to snacks on the counter. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils. The deck was nice but the mosquitoes were out so we only grilled once. We caught most of our fish off of the dock. The only negatives were there was not a good place to clean fish, the hill up and down to the dock was a bit much for us after a couple of days, and I highly suggest you not put a boat in at the nearest boat ramp. You have to drive through a never ending mine field of mostly underwater stumps. Take your boat to the marina or Johnson’s creek to avoid all that. "

"Absolutely blown away by this property! We stayed with a group of 16 family and friends, and it was PERFECT for all of us. The home is spacious, beautifully designed, and had more than enough room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded.The open kitchen and living area made it easy for us to cook, hang out, and spend quality time together. The views of the water are incredible — especially in the mornings and at sunset.The outdoor space is where this place really shines. We spent our evenings around the fire pit under the string lights, laughing and making memories. During the day, the pool felt like our own private resort, and the sport court and game room kept both kids and adults entertained nonstop.Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for larger groups. You can tell this place was made for making memories.If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a big family trip or getaway with friends, this is it. We will 100% be back! "

"Nice little cozy cabin right by the lake. The hosts were wonderful, very nice people! They even baked muffins and cookies for us! Would definitely stay there again, next time we might be able to bring our pups."

"A beautiful place to stay. It’s far enough out to feel secluded but still close to town for anything you need. Communication with the host was fantastic. We had a relaxing, enjoyable stay and will definitely be coming back."
