"We enjoyed a wonderful week at Village Beach Cottages ! The atmosphere is welcoming,peaceful & relaxing. It is a lovely property with beautiful views & very friendly people who looked after us so well. Austin was waiting for us at the airport & Claudius was there to take us back when it was time to say goodbye to St Lucia. Everything was looked after. We learned a lot about the island & history of the property from owner Colin Hunte. He asked us what we’d like to see & do during our stay then gave us maps & suggestions. We only had to speak to the lovely ladies at reception & they booked taxis, tours & restaurant reservations. A special thank you to Chatelle for her kind help & to Richie who was an excellent driver/tour guide. We appreciated having a well equipped kitchen & had most of our meals on our spacious second floor porch overlooking the pool & ocean. ( We had two delicious meals at the on-site restaurant as well). The sound of the surf & the beautiful view were a constant balm to the soul. Could even enjoy the view from bed. Loved walking the beach ,swims in the ocean & pool & watching the sunset every night as well. We stayed in a standard suite which was spacious, comfortable & very clean. We loved our stay at Villa Beach Cottages & were talking about “next time”before we even left. Would definitely recommend!"

"We just returned from a lovely holiday at the Fond Doux Resort in St. Lucia and it was absolutely amazing! We stayed in one of their free-standing cottages with a private plunge pool and outdoor shower. The layout was delightful and the setting was truly fantastic. There is a 45 minute hike on the property that takes you through pristine forest to a viewing platform that looks across Sugar Beach to the Petit Piton and the view at the top is stunning. The staff were lovely, the grounds were like an unspoiled botanical garden and the accommodations were delightfully unique. If you are looking for a beautiful, calm and romantic holiday in St. Lucia, the Fond Doux is perfect!"

"It is no wonder this is such a popular resort. The staff were outstanding…too many to mention, but here are a few: Lovina buffet restaurant), Rose (housekeeping), Kershana (activities) and yoga master Vernon! Food was great, esp on the Verandah and Trattoria. Only negative was Hermina at the reservations desk…her blunt negative attitude stood out amongst everyone else’s easy, friendly demeanour. The resort did a commendable job clearing out the sargassum each morning. And it was a pleasant surprise to play on four dedicated pickleball courts. Overall, while our Adults Only section gave us the quiet relaxing vibe we wanted, it was fun to see all the kids and parents enjoying themselves in the waterpark, at the pool and around the Cove.
