"Very clean and modern. Excellent stay there"
Wingate by Wyndham Kamloops
10/10 Excellent
"We were welcomed to the Wingate and assisted to find a place to park our small trailer for the duration of our 6 night stay. The manager was so helpful in finding a level, well secured spot. We only had the breakfast one morning but it was adequate and a typical hotel breakfast, which are always high carb and sugars, low on protein although they did offer egg patties and turkey bacon the morning we were there. Our suite was very comfortable for us to make our own meals and for my husband to recuperate from his surgery, which was why we were in Kamloops. I forgot some important items when we left and they were quick to call me and arrange them to be shipped to me. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality."

The Lodge at Face Lake. Fishing, hiking, and trails. Perfect wilderness retreat.
10/10 Excellent
"Darryl was extremely communicative with answering any questions we had or any clarification that was needed. There was a slight misunderstanding regarding the fee for a pet but again- quickly clarified that it was 75 total for our one week stay which we felt was totally reasonable. The cabin is well equipped with basically everything you need- dishes, utensils, food wrap, plastic storage containers, cleaning supplies, etc- bringing ice up was a good call. Also bringing seasonings you like as well as oil for cooking and coffee grounds is a good idea. There is an AMAZING bbq to use and propane provided. We brought our propane fire pit w/extra tank due to the fire ban in place and it was easy to place in the fire pit area so it still had the “vibe” for hanging out! There is no AC but the fans provided worked well to circulate the air and it was cool enough in the mountains not to need AC. Tons of space to spread out and relax. The lake is about a 3 min walk away but it is slightly downhill and on a dirt path - there is no shoreline to spread out on and their dock is still waiting to be replaced so I’d say that was the only piece that I wish we’d known ahead- can’t really have a “lake day” But it’s ok for launching floats etc. to go out on. No use of neighbouring resort docks either. Can do day use at the Paska lake rec site 2 min drive away though. All in all- a really great spot! Everything is as advertised in the ad. I’d love to come up in winter to check it out too!!"

Dogs love our cabin in Lac Le Jeune close to lake
8/10 Good
"When we first arrived we were greeted by one of the owners family members. She was very friendly and gave us information on the area and things to do. I love the small town hospitality! The cabin had all that we needed for a relaxing few days. The only issue we had were the beds. The queen was a very firm mattress and not the most comfortable to sleep on. The 2 doubles in loft were also not comfortable as one was too firm and the other you could feel the bars underneath. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. We road our bikes one of the days from the cabin to Stake Lake. That was a really nice trail around the lake. We did about 15 km but the trails were endless. I highly recommend you check it out. We had family staying the provincial campground so it was close enough to ride our bikes or load up the car and head to the beach. We enjoyed the beach every day even though it was a bit smoky but we had fun floating around. We used the indoor pool on our last night and enjoyed having a family water volleyball game . A perfect way to end our stay!"
