"We had a great stay at the Hampton in Tacoma. Even though the hotel is located right next to the highway and the surrounding area isn’t necessarily the best part of town, you honestly wouldn’t know it once you’re on the property. The hotel has several great security features, including a fenced-in parking lot and secure elevators that require a room key card for access, which made us feel much more comfortable during our stay. The staff was absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everything throughout the hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was awesome with plenty of options. You can tell the staff takes pride in keeping the property clean, safe, and welcoming. Overall, we had a really positive experience and would definitely stay here again. Don’t let the location next to the highway or the surrounding neighborhood discourage you—the hotel itself felt secure, comfortable, and very well taken care of. Highly recommend!"
