We enjoyed our stay. Communication was excellent with recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. The place had everything we needing including access to laundry. Most of all our host was fabulous when we needed to extend our stay an extra day. Parking is on the street but we didn’t have any issues with finding a spot.

Perfect Stay in Ladysmith

🛏️ Perfect Stay in Ladysmith This newly renovated room was spotless, spacious, and super comfortable—with a great bed and even a washer/dryer. Located right on Ladysmith’s charming main street, it’s close to everything. The host was fantastic and communication was smooth. Highly recommend!

What an incredible place the Temperance Hotel is. Beautifully renovated. We stayed in room No. 4 and it was perfect for the two of us. The owners did a fantastic job both decorating and making this such a comfortable place to stay. Denise even dropped off some lemon tarts from Old Town Bakery (as it would be closed during our stay). Yes, we would stay here again.

A wonderful getaway!

The place was wonderful - clean and spacious with a full and well-appointed kitchen. The owners were really responsive and helpful. The hotel is right on the Main Street of Ladysmith, which is a beautiful town with great shops, cafes, hiking and vineyards all around. We spent four nights here and had a great time. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous property, we thoroughly loved our stay at the Temperance Hotel. The apartment was spacious, immaculately clean and well appointed. We were across the street from a Gluten Free cafe which was a nice surprise. You can walk through the beautiful town of Ladysmith and down to the water. We highly recommend this hotel if you want a home away from home while you are travelling. 10/10

Amazing locally owned hotel. I've stayed in I think 4/5 suites now and each one has been great. Each is a great apartment style space, with full kitchen (I believe one of the suites has a kitchenette only) and so far has always had some kitchen essentials on hand like oil, salt/pepper etc. Makes staying in hotel for work much nicer, not having to eat out for every meal. Great location, very close to cafes, bars, unique shops and grocery stores a bit further away. Would definitely stay again.
