Staff was very friendly, but this hotel was one

Overall, we loved our experience at the Chateau Hotel. Location was great and the area was quiet. The staff were all amazing! Especially, the lady working Saturday (10/3/2026) during the day. While it was raining the ceiling in our room, 241 (Superior King) began leaking in several spots. We went to the desk and were informed that the ceiling in that room usually leaks when it rains heavily. Knowing that fact the hotel should have fixed it at some point. Luckily there was an open room, 249, that we were moved to. This room was nice and directly next to the pool. However, from 1am-3am there were people running around upstairs and every single step shook the ceiling. It was so loud inside the room it was impossible to sleep. There was also a motion light outside the door that came on every couple minutes and lit up the room. The desk provided bottled waters, but ran out most days. There was no breakfast and no exercise facilities. The pool was not green like some reviews say, but was so cloudy you couldn’t see more than an inch or two into it. The look of the hotel, location, and staff are the only things salvaging this rating. Known issues not being fixed along with a lack of amenities really ruined what could have been a great stay.
