During our stay the washrooms upstairs were out of service so that was a bit of a hassle going downstairs every time. "This place was ok for a one-night stay, but felt pretty cheap for a hotel that actually wasn’t that cheap. We got a room with a private bathroom and ate at their restaurant area since they have no shared kitchen space. The food wasn't good at all, but the staff was extremely friendly and let many people order food even though the kitchen was supposed to close. We decided not to stick around for breakfast since the dinner food was so mediocre, so I couldn’t comment on if it's worth the extra price."

"This was our favourite stay while in Iceland. The cabins were well stocked and quiet, the right distance from town to feel removed. We were able to cook basic meals and we loved having access to a hot tub and sauna. Wouldn’t change a thing. It was lovely!"
