The views are Amazing! Saw sea turtles every morning Far enough away from the crowds yet close enough to enjoy everything The property was as listed and the Lania made for a perfect relaxation spot after a long day. Sunset was beautiful and check in/out couldn’t have been any easier. Will definitely be looking to stay in the same exact unit next time we visit. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your Condo.

Overall this is a wonderful location! The views are absolutely incredible - turtles and whales every day! Bus stop right outside on the street in front. The realty company was extremely responsive and helpful before and during the stay. We had access to beach chairs and plenty of towels, etc. The only negative is that the place is in need of some tender loving care. But again, we absolutely loved our stay!

Great Stay in Maui

Great location on upper floor, high enough to watch the whales in the morning. 5 minutes from Black Rock, Great beaches, the best snorkeling. Will be booking this place again !!!

This condo is amazing! Has it all and the view of Molokai is breathtaking! I wish the pool was bigger though. Other than that, a wonderful stay! Free parking also!

This condo, location and view did not disappoint! It was roomy, comfortable and clean with the most incredible view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, whales breaching from our patio and turtles swimming close to the shore below. Our week flew by! We will definitely return!!!

Great Views!

Incredible ocean views! We saw plenty of whale spouts and turtles! Even a pod of dolphins and a shark from the balcony! The close proximity of the units makes it a bit noisy at night. The property is well maintained and clean.

Beautiful view from the balconies, the unit was very clean. Everything was there that we needed. Enjoyed our stay very much, will be returning soon. Was able to see sea turtles, right in front of the unit on the sand.

Great location, beautiful view.

We had a lovely stay. The condo was well equipped and perfect for our family. We explored much of west Maui with ease, and were delighted to discover an amazing sushi place across the street. Seriously don’t miss it. The facility was well kept always clean. It is a delightful place to stay and we would happily return if we come back to Maui.

Beautiful View

Good property for that price point. Needs a bit "deeper" cleaning (down sides of stove, screens in second bedroom, etc). The grounds of Valley Isle Resort are immaculate. The view from this unit is phenomenal. They seriously need to fix/grease the runners on the sliding glass door though...hard even for my 6'5" Navy Officer to open.

Cozy - gorgeous view

The view was great…nice to swim-snorkel right at property. Close enough to stores and amenities. A little older…bathrooms in particular, but was fine. Well stocked with beach necessities. Never really had hot water (lukewarm) and the building did shut the water off for about 6 hours one day…but overall enjoyed the condo.

Valley Isle Condos - Maui

Overall we were very pleased with this choice! Lights in this kitchen were very poor, stove light did not work at all. Ocean views were spectacular with both whales and turtles every day! Beach erosion overall requires you walk to an access point to enjoy sand and surf. Very pleasant grounds and kept immaculate. Mahalo for sharing this with the mainlanders!

Great views but the unit was not quite as listed

PROS: Amazing views, very quiet location, kitchen had everything, property grounds were well maintained and staff was lovely. CONS: Beds were quite hard, it was only 1.5 baths (not 2 as listed) and they were NOT remodeled. They had new counter tops but the shower and tub/shower were ancient. (The pic’s on vrbo are enhanced with a filter)

Nice Stay With a Beautiful View for a Small Group

We had a great stay at this condo as a family of three. The space was just right for our group, and the views were absolutely beautiful. The location is ideal for exploring West Maui—close to everything but still peaceful. The realty company was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, which made a big difference. It was also fairly quiet, with easy access to the ocean (though the beach area is small). The onsite pool was a nice bonus, though it could use some shaded areas. Parking was easy and never an issue.That said, we did run into a couple of drawbacks. We didn’t have hot water for most of the week, which was a bit inconvenient. The unit also felt a little worn in places, and the oven didn’t open fully due to tight spacing in the kitchen.Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially for a small group. With a few updates, it could be even better.

Spectacular ocean views from 11th floor

Unit has great location in Kahana, midway between Kaanapali and Kapalua. The 11th floor oceanfront position affords spectacular views. Biggest drawback we had is that every time the wind came up (which was much of the time during our week there) the corridor to the room became a major wind tunnel, and the jalousie windows in the secondary bedroom set up a howling noise that made it difficult to sleep. In calmer conditions probably not a problem. We noticed that some other units had replaced the jalousie windows with solid pane windows, and this might be an improvement.

Great property, bad management company

The property is in an amazing location and the view is breathtaking. Unfortunately the property management team was unprofessional and unapologetic. The listing says you can request the second bedroom to be set up with 2 twins or 1 king. I requested the setup with 1 king because I have a 1 year old. When I arrived, I was disappointed to find that the second bedroom was set up with 2 twins. I called, no answer, so I left a message and emailed. No response. The next morning, I called and emailed again, and when they finally called back and I explained my situation, the property manager said she doesn't believe that I requested the king set up. I offered to send her a screenshot of my vrbo booking message proving my request, and she dismissed it and said it doesn't matter. I asked if they will come fix the setup and she said they can't guarantee it because the linens crew has already started their shift and they might not have extra sheets. When the linens crew finally changed the sheets, it smelled musty... made me wonder if they recycled sheets they removed elsewhere. Overall, it was not the hospitality you expect on vacation. The dishwasher was also broken but facilities maintenance came quickly and fixed it.
