"The windows in the suit do not have screens, and I talked to the hotel. They spent about 90 minutes in and out of the room and told me they cannot find the right size of screen for the windows. Also the carpet is very old and dirty and has a moldy and rotten smell, hurt my throat, and difficult to breath. Also all the window sills are very dirty. It is not in a livable condition. I talked to the front counter manager, and he finally go me a room on the last night. This room is a little better, it has window screen. However the room is still dirty: all the window sills are dirty and the shower room wall. For both rooms, I have to ask the hotel to come in to clean the window sills. "

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good stay in this rental. It had everything we needed. The air-conditioned didn't work in one room but the manager came over that night we arrived but it was Saturday and no one to fix air until Monday but it worked out. Besides he was very friendly. The pictures of the house are deceiving but over all it was good js not what we were expecting. I'd stay again."

"The view from the lanai was spectacular. We were able to watch a whale breaching while having coffee. A great place to stay and unwind. "

"A great condo. Part of a property that was partially burned in the Lahaina fire, but this unit was untouched. A lot of room here and with all the bathrooms/showers, it's great for 2-3 families to all stay together. Washer didn't work during our stay. We called the property manager who came out, said it needed replaced, was trying to replace it asap, but we never did get to use it. (Not a deal breaker, just an fyi, if you plan to use W/D towards end of stay)Advice:**Go to the unit and see what is there BEFORE grocery shopping! They have a LOT of staples for cooking there such as oils, shelf-stable sauces, spices, syrups, etc. They also have reusable shopping bags you can take with you to avoid buying at the store** Grocery stores a few minutes away, lots of quick meal/deli options. **If you prefer a large insulated cup to drink from/take to the pool, bring your own****They have an outdoor closet full of a bunch of things, look through before buying toys/chairs, etc. They also had puzzles, games, books (including some great coffee table books in Hawaiian theme). **There were ONLY THREE beach towels in the unit. For a place this large, I would have liked/expected many more, but it didn't affect our stay. Parking was easy, but the online registration was a bit weird (it let you put 2 cars in, but only gave you 1 registration number, you need 1 per car). Only one side of the security gate worked during our stay, but we never felt unsafe. I'd stay here again!"

"The three bedroom, two-story, townhome was lovely. Nice grassy area off the patio for the kids to run around in. Unfortunately, we were there during an historical storm on Maui, which blew a bunch of debris into the pool. The kids pool was emptied for renovation, and the pool on the beach was closed due to the debris for the entire week. Otherwise, the unit definitely met all of our needs. It’s probably fabulous most of the time."

"The facility was nice. But there was major confusion relative to parking passes and the internet sign-on instructions. The instruction book in the room at checkin was outdated and inaccurate. I spent several hours of my vacation time trying to get correct information and waiting for commitments from the office to be fulfilled. "

"This is a beautiful place to stay! Clean, comfortable, nice partial view of the ocean, (and a quick stroll to watch our one great sunset or view whales, surfers, and boats). Since it was a 100-year-kona-low, we had a different sort of adventure. But! The sofa was comfy, the beds were comfiest, the shower was very nice (with a nice view) and this rental had enough supplies and space to cook the meals and brew the coffee! We also met such nice people living in the complex, as well as enjoying watching the famous Hawaiian chickens.Located just south of Lahaina, access to everything "west side" was easy. Any problems we had were quickly addressed in difficult circumstances."

"We had a great stay at Ryan’s place in Maui. The condo was very clean, the loft was awesome, and the pool being right on the beach next to the water was a huge bonus. The sunsets were beautiful every night — at least until the rain during our last couple of days.Ryan was very responsive. I had a question about the WiFi password and he replied quickly (even though I later realized it was already in a previous message). The location was perfect for what we wanted. You can hear some highway traffic, but it really wasn’t that bad and didn’t bother us much.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back."

"The location is great! Beautiful sunsets every night. But within 2 hours of our arrival, the power went off and stayed off for 22 hours. No TV, no coffee, no hot water, no A/C. Residents told us that rolling power outages are not unusual. The entire Lahaina area and north were out.The kitchen and bathrooms are updated, but the rest of the unit is original. Air conditioners are old and noisy, with visible ductwork on the walls. It appeared that the one in the primary bedroom had a leak that worked its way into the wall. The windows are original and screen doors don't fit well, so we used a rolled-up towel under the front door to keep critters out.The kitchen is reasonably well-equipped, with dishes for at least 3 people, some spices and oil. Detergent was supplied for laundry, dishes and dishwasher. We were responsible for washing dishes, sheets and towels before leaving, which was ok.Because of the noisy air conditioner, we turned off the one in our bedroom at night and turned on the one in the other bedroom.Beware getting too friendly with the next door neighbor. She was nice at first but talkative, and she became very aggressive about her politics. In the end we avoided each other.Maui itself is difficult to get around, with a mostly 2-lane road around the perimeter (but not completely around!) and traffic can be very slow some times of the day. Getting to other areas of the island requires driving back to the airport and looping around from there. "
