"We had a wonderful family vacation with our two daughters & their husbands. The unit was clean, had a pretty well stocked kitchen. (surprised in Maui they don't have a rice cooker!) We loved eating our meals out on the lanai, watching the waves and beautiful sunsets. The ocean pool with the waves crashing over was beautiful and being able to walk out to surf was heaven on earth for our son-in-law. It was quiet and peaceful. Lahaina is a nice place to stay, without the crazy winds, little rain, perfect weather. It was so nice to come home to this beautiful little home in paradise each day. We used the bbq a few times too which was great. We had a couple of questions, problem with a door lock, and all was quickly answered and taken care of. We loved staying here over the hotels with tons of people. We will definitely be back and hope to stay here again and again!!"

"This property is incredible! You can hear the waves crashing and watch people surf all day from the back porch, second floor deck, or even from the couch. There is a ton of cool places to eat nearby and the neighborhood was quiet and comfortable. Our family had a blast and the host was very responsive and helpful. The property was clean and the listing was very accurate. The photos don't do it justice. We were a little worried about Lahaina being still closed off but we found tons to do in the area. We loved this location and the property."

"Beautiful location. Unit is as listed. It is a peaceful and private location. The house had everything we needed for a weeks stay. A unexpected bonus was there were beach towels and one beach umbrella in the unit. And a bag of coffee waiting for us as check in. Excellent communication."

"Aloha Cottage was the perfect home base for our second time visiting Maui. Though Lahaina is still rebuilding from the devastating wildfires a few years ago, the town was so very welcoming and being able to call Aloha Cottage our home for five days made our Maui vacation all the more magical. The cottage is nicely appointed and the kitchen had everything you might need. There were only three of us in our party (myself, wife, and 17 yo daughter) so the sleeping layout was perfect for us. We spent five days on Maui and then five days on Kauai…the five nights at Aloha Cottage gave us some of our best sleep (bed in the master was super comfortable). As other guests mentioned, there is some road noise from the highway nearby, but as we normally travel with a small sound machine, it wasn’t a factor. The ’Ocean Pool’ was the definite star of the property…would be hard pressed for a more relaxing place to just unwind and enjoy the beauty of the ocean. No lazy river, no water slides, no DJ’s…just a nice pool with Pacific waves crashing against it. Simple. Beautiful. There’s beach access in the community as well and after a morning of playing in the surf was great to go back to the cottage and not just have an outdoor shower, but a hose with a shower nozzle to get the sand out of those hard to reach areas…though I still had some fine Maui sand in my ear a week later :)Lastly, Ryan was a great host and very accommodating with any questions I had. Definitely stay again!"

"This property is perfect for the right family. It’s not a walk‑down‑the‑street-for-coffee or resort‑style setting, but it is a wonderfully private, spacious home with a beautiful beach just a two‑minute walk away. A rental car is essential to reach activities, restaurants, and other beaches.The beds are extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern and updated. The kitchen and laundry setup are excellent. The living room furniture could use an upgrade, but it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed the space overall.We loved staying here, and as Lahaina continues to regrow, we think this home will become even more special."
