"We enjoyed the three days we stayed at Casa Baía de Feteira. The house was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Note Google maps does not take you to the driveway when using the “directions” feature within the vrbo app but rather a nearby location. This was easily and quickly corrected by a note to the host. "This is a beautiful property that opened 10 days before we stayed, so they were still working out little issues. The staff was very solicitous and the wine tasting in the cave was a really nice experience. The pool for the main rooms is indoor and lovely. The VIP rooms have their own small pools. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely. There is no outdoor pool, bar or restaurant. "

"The location was beautiful and the host was very friendly. The apartment was clean and well stocked; however, we booked this location to sleep and to shower and both experiences were sub par. The bed is so hard, it offers little comfort after climbing Mt. Pico. The shower set up is odd, splashing water all over the toilet and provided toilet paper. There was no a/c as advertised and we couldn't locate the washer; however, we didn't look hard. All in all the place was nice, but the bed was the worst we experienced in all of our travels. We're paying for it today. "
