"We have been coming to this resort for many years. This was a last minute trip and there were not a lot of vacancies, so we took what we could get. The condo was lovely, but involved going up four flights of stairs with our bags. We are 73 (me) and 80 (my husband), both very active and fit, but that was a bit of a strain. We also chose the property because we have always liked the food; however, the restaurant was closed the day I we arrived. Otherwise, the space was clean, quiet and the view was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again, but would check out restaurant days/times and get a room that didn't require so many stairs."

"Absolutely 11/10 experience. One of the most thoughtful hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s perfectly cozy while also feeling elevated - you can tell that there has been extra thought and care put into every detail. Highly recommend hitting up the communal bonfire - don’t be shy about it! Some of our best memories during our three night stay were meeting strangers at the fire pit and laughing and telling stories (while making s’mores from the kits provided by the staff!). Thank you for a beautiful and memorable stay - we will be back!"

"If you're looking for a beautiful, quiet cabin in the woods with all the amenities, Little Bear Lodge is the place for you. We truly enjoyed our stay here! Not only was the property secluded; it was centrally located, so you could enjoy lots of what the North Shore had to offer -- hiking, canoeing in the BWCA, wine tasting, various dining options, shopping, etc. It also was a great place to relax and share family time, The numerous windows offered 24/7 views of the woods and allowed for cool breezes. An unobstructed look at the night sky was provided from both decks. Absolutely amazing! In addition, the hosts were awesome! They communicated frequently and were committed to making sure we enjoyed your stay. We would definitely visit again!"
