"My room was clean and very well appointed. The temperature was set to a nice setting when I first checked in so I only made slight changes. I was surprised that breakfast had a charge but it's been a long time since I stayed in a hotel so it's probably the norm now."

"The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and friendly. I have asthma and upon entering our room, it reeked of cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. I explained the issue to the manager, as I would become very sick and likely have an asthma attack. She was able to switch us to a new room quickly and on the same floor as my mom, and checked it later to make sure everything was all right with the new room. I generally don't like complaining at hotel or restaurants and was grateful for the understanding of the hotel manager as to why I needed to switch rooms. The rooms are a nice size for a family of 4, and the location is on the outskirts of the city, so it was nice and quiet after a long day's drive. We did not partake in the breakfast offered by the restaurant onsite, but it's menu showed a good offering of items from cold and hot breakfast options. We would happily stay here again on our roadtrips to and from the beach. "
