"Staff is great "

"Initial issue with Evergreen getting reservation from Expedia - we were not showing in the Evergreen system: staff worked to get us the room we had set up with Expedia. Requested room cleaning half way through our 8 day stay but didn’t happen. May have been a staffing issue? Were able to get clean towels and other supplies via front desk staff. Breakfast included in room cost was decent with both hot and cold breakfast options. Curley’s, the in hotel bar, was a great place for an evening nightcap or late dinner/snack. "

"we arrived to hotel around 6 pm . our first room was terrible , there was long hair all over the chairs crumbs on the microwave my wife found mouse turds on the bath room floor. Our second room was worse, human blood on the bottom side of the toilet , it was not clean on the inside either.The coffee maker in the room was dirty , she had to clean it just so we could use it. The bed sounded like it was ready to fall apart. When our concerns were brought up to the desk clerk. Here response was "oh I know who cleaned that room. She proceded to give us a room cleaned by the same cleaning person"

"The only downside was there was an over abundance of chlorine in the hot tub. The second you go into it your eyes would start to burn "

"The room was kinda dirty, there was hair ball under the chair. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was only one wash cloth and we needed 2 because we had two people in our room. When i asked at the desk for another wash cloth they didnt have any more. House keepers did not come in to clean our room or bring fresh towels. I actually never saw a housekeeper there at all or a cleaning cart. The breakfast they had a waffle iron there, but it looked real dirty and black like it never got cleaned. They had yogurt, cereal, milk and sausage and scrambled eggs. The hotel is under new management and remodel. The showers were great and all. They had coffee maker, frig, blow dryer. The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet here. Parking lot had lots of ciggerette butts on the parking areas it looked like people smoked and just threw butts on the ground. It would be better if they had a ciggarette stand to put out the butts, instead of on the ground and littering the parking areas. I the bathroom door knob was sticking and was hard to open bathroom door, had to have my roomate open door from outside it was very scary. I would say in fairness the place was ok and quiet for the most part. I hope the new owners will fix it up and it does have potential to be a nice place. "
