Little Bear Cabin on the Lake -Sunshine and Views Right on the Water!

  • Cabin Sleeps 2 in 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom and pull out couch. Enjoy stunning lake views from the covered deck!.

    Escape to the mountains in this quaint cabin on the shore of Lake San Cristobal just 4 miles south of Lake City, Colorado. This cozy cabin has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom plus a pull out sofa for additional sleeping. The deck is a place you can sit and enjoy the amazing views of Lake San Cristobal and surrounding mountains. You can access the lake directly in front of the cabin and enjoy kayaking or fishing (kayaks can be rented in town)! There is direct access to the Alpine Loop from the cabin as well as access to town on your OHV's (From June 1st to September 30th).

    OUTDOOR LIVING: Direct lake access, deck, outdoor seating.

    INDOOR LIVING: Smart TV, Open living area with views of the lake, dining table, ceiling fan, rustic cabin decor.

    KITCHEN: Well equipped, Breville Smart oven, 2-burner hot plate, microwave, blender, drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee Maker, Insta-Pot, cooking basics, dishware/flatware

    GENERAL: Free Starlink WiFi, linens/towels, basic necessities.

    FAQ: Direct access to the Alpine Loop! Step-free entry, bedroom & bathroom on the first floor, lakeside location (adult supervision of young children recommended), duplex unit.

    PARKING: Parking available for 2 vehicles with additional parking on the road as well as a parking area for trailers about 1/2 mile away.

    ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATIONS: An additional 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit for 4 guests is available on-site with a separate nightly rate. If you would like to reserve both rentals, please reach out to us.

    NOTE: This property is a duplex and other guests may be present next door during your stay. There is only a barn door separating the two sides so you are able to hear the guests.

    Check out the Chamber of Commerce website for more information on all there is to do in the area...the most remote county in the lower 48 states! You can also visit the visitors center for all kinds of information and local resources.

I booked this as a gift for my pastor and his wife. They absolutely LOVED it! Cleanliness, check-in and everything was top-notch. They deemed it the perfect place to relax and unwind, and were super content with sitting on the deck just soaking up the scenery.

Property matched the description/pictures well. Good overall stay! Overall cleanliness could be improved. You will be able to hear the next door neighbors if anyone is staying there as the there is just a locked sliding door that separates the two locations but management will talk to them if they are too loud.

Great space on the ever so beautiful Lake San Cristobal! Close to town or all the nature you want to find yourself submerged in! You can fish right from your patio door too! Just know this place is a duplex, if you have neighbors renting you will hear them at times. It didn’t bother us though, we were mostly outside besides sleeping! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a cute rustic place to stay!

The deck area was not great. Chairs had really old pads. The cabins next door had much nicer beach/deck areas. Did not like that we could hear the people in the adjoining cabin. We could hear them talking and moving around. The bathroom could use some improvement. Excellent hosts.
