"The best review I can write about is that I didn't want to leave. The Bear Manor is a special place. It is a great jumping off point for many adventures. I loved the staff and open breakfast where you could interact with others seeking adventures. It had everything I needed and nothing I didn't."
"Walls are thin, neighbor to us was blasting what seemed like Metallica until 11:30 pm. I asked the front desk to help with noise control at 10:30. Made for a very long road trip the next day.
In the shower both soaps were labeled body soap. I’m assuming one was shampoo?
We did enjoy the hot spring pool.
Overall,
Price was too high compared to value."
"Nice hotel, rooms are super clean but nothing special, the true benefit is the 7 hot tubs available on the hill, such a treat to walk out the back and enjoy a soak in one of the tubs.
Easy parking and super close to the main street to enjoy a stroll to grab a meal and shopping."
"Slightly better than a tent. The interior wall is also the exterior wall, so even though it’s your own cabin and you hear everything going on outside all night long. There is a little tiny, tiny tiny heater in the place. It has a refrigerator and a stove and a coffee maker but they look like they got them at various yard sales. Nowhere in the listing does it say you have to pack out your own trash and clean things like door knobs yourself the pamphlet even says there’s cleaning supplies available at the lodge which by the way was never open the whole time we were there. Thankfully, we were just there for an evening after a wedding and left early the next morning. if it cost half as much as it did, it still would’ve been too expensive."
