"Très beau emplacement c’est beau propre moderne mais j’ai pas reçu le email pour pouvoir et le comment avoir accès à mon chalet et malgré plusieurs tentatives et avec l’aide d’Expedia aucun retour d’appels et de réponse finalement en allant me renseigner à d’autre hôtel plus loin j’ai trouvé la réponse mais ça été stressant et plate"

"Très bon déjeuner continental. Nous avions accès à une salle familiale à partager avec les autres voyageurs incluant évier, micro-onde, vaisselle, cafetière et ustensiles, etc … très pratique ! Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour !"

"Everything you need in the highlands. Rooms were small, bathrooms limited, but in each room. If you know that upfront and set expectations, this place delivers with an excellent staff big dining/bar areas with plenty of choices and great darkness to enjoy the northern lights. Not a resort hotel. A well run and stocked mountain hut experience."

"Really gorgeous and cute cottage in the woods about 40 minutes from the town of Hella, with friendly resident chickens!! Karl and Jóna were so kind and welcoming, and their son was very friendly and helpful when we had a little trouble with our car. Totally beautiful location - not too too far from Hella (gas, groceries, restaurant) but far enough that it's totally quiet and very dark at night. We saw the northern lights on our first night there!!Most visitors will have a packed agenda but if you're looking for a short hike, we really enjoyed Fossbrekkur, about 15 mins up the road - beautiful little glacial stream with sheep trails.Gorgeous and cozy well-appointed cottage in a beautiful location!"

"Got lucky and got very clear skies, so I saw the northern lights while sitting in the hot tub of the Volcano cabin. Highly recommend trying to do also do that."

"We booked this location last minute and didn't see the check-in email about needing a mountain bus ticket, or an atv to get to the property, until the last bus had already left. The staff, office, and Expedia were very helpful and gave us a refund for our room. We would like to come back some day and experience the volcano huts properly."
