I did not like that the rooms did not have a balcony, and for that reason I would not stay there again in the summer. Also there was a very foul smell in our bathroom, some sort of toilet problem. The out door pool was jammed with kids and no life guard on duty. I feel that the room charges were way too over priced for all those inconveniences. Also no microwave in the room. The room was very clean and updated but overpriced due to missing items I mentioned.

My wife and I really enjoyed spending our anniversary here. We even went for a bike ride into Lake Geneva on the e-bikes they had available at no charge. Very nice pools and hot tubs, both inside and outside. Great guest services, always ready to help and very friendly.

The website photos make this place look very upscale, in actuality, the rooms are basic and the pool is small, it has a nice pool bar/food area, but nothing special. The photos make this seem very resort-like. It’s basically a very old hotel and the lobby was remodeled. You walk in and are impressed, then you get to the room. Crusty and smelled like urine, didn’t seem very clean.

We walked around Lake Geneva (22 miles), so we were looking forward to "coming home" to The Ridge, having a celebratory beverage, and soothing our sore muscles in the hot tub and pool deck area. We had a 2nd day of relaxing at the pool under an umbrella, getting great service from the pool bar staff, and continuing our hot tub/pool therapy. We concluded the day by sitting by the fire, watching the sunset, and enjoying the beautiful sunset. A Happy Place!
