"The motel is obviously a little old but it felt very clean, not dark and dreary like some older motels. All of the staff that we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good, and again, very clean with friendly staff. The view and the beach were excellent! I will definitely stay there on my next trip to visit the porcupine mountains."

"Perfect cabin for 2 and a great dane. Location to lake and local attractions is spot on. Cell service is minimal at best, non-existent is to be expected. As a heads up, make sure to screenshot the messages with the door codes, or you'll be searching for service to access said messages. *TIP* The AmericInn right down the street has public access to wi-fi so you can access your messages if you did not screenshot beforehand. Once in the cabin, the wi-fi works great around the property."

"My family loved staying at this house! It was nice to have 3 bedrooms to stretch out and have our own space. Plenty of cookware and I was very excited there was a crockpot. Family friendly home with games and movies to watch. I highly recommend this rental and would happily return in the future!"

"The property was just as described. They had everything you need for the basics. The interior was cute and clean - hot tub was great (husband enjoyed for sure) Ten minutes from the Porkies and within minutes from Lake Superior! Loved the welcome book that explains how to work things and local restaurants etc. Neighbor across the street was very informative and even gave us a bottle of bug spray that he recommended! (The gnats at the hiking trails were horrible!) Recommend face nets if you don’t want these annoying little bugs in your eyes and mouth! lol"

"This is an amazing property to stay at. Very clean home right on lake Gogebic and everything we needed was there waiting for us. We had GREAT fishing on the lake with limits of keeper Walleye. The Pike were very fun and abundant as well.I highly recommend this home to enjoy their slice of Heaven in the UP of Michigan. Fisherman's Dream!"
