"We had a wonderful stay at this property. It's a beautiful home with an old school cabin vibe along with all the modern essential needed for a comfortable stay. The highlights for us were the screened in porch which was perfect for morning coffee or a glad of wine in the evening while overlooking the beautiful pond. We also appreciated all the watercraft options, and all had some fun getting out on the water. Linda and John were great hosts, who clearly love their property, it's very well taken care of. We can't wait to come back for some more serenity."

"Beautiful, cozy home. Very clean and comfy. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here while visiting Lake George. My teenage sons (and us too) really enjoyed the game room downstairs with pool, pingpong and fooseball. The hot tub outside was clean and spacious. The massaging sofa with recliners was so nice! I couldn’t have asked for a better host. He was friendly, quick to respond and answer any questions, and really went above and beyond with everything. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. Hope to take another trip up here and would love to stay here again."

"Great getaway from the city heat and bustle. Exactly what we were looking for perfect location in the Adirondacks, with the view and direct access to the lake. We swam, used paddle boards and enjoyed upstate New York weather. Linda and John are excellent hosts. The house, while a little worn out, is clean and very well stocked. Hummingbirds were a nice bonus :). We will be back."

"Lovely lawn down to the lake. Nice firepit with lots of seating. House is on Harris Bay so the water is calm for swimming and paddle boarding. Plenty of activities- ping pong, cornhole. Lots of comfy seating in the living area and two tv’s. Kitchen is rather small and not too well supplied. Bring measuring cups or don’t cook and walk a short distance to a lovely country store. We had a nice stay."

"The property is exactly as described. There was enough room for 6 adults to enjoy the rainy days inside, and plenty of room for the group outside. Most of our time was spent on the dock, around the fire pit, or on the porch. A couple of things of note for future renters: the walk down and back to the cottage from the waterfront is a steep hill. I can see it being an issue for people who are not used to hiking or have mobility issues. Not long, just a large hill to climb. Although fun once you are up there, the water trampoline is extremely difficult to climb onto. The lower level is not air-conditioned, but fans were provided.We did have an issue getting the correct codes to unlock the door to the house, which delayed our ability to access the house by several hours. Once VRBO was able to get in contact with the owners, all was good and communication from that point forward was great. They were very responsive and apologetic too."

"We stayed at Lakeshore Cottage as two families of 5. 6 kids ages 10-16 and 4 adults. The home was immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipment and the location on the lake was perfect. We just wish the location was closer to the lake George activities. The lake was gorgeous and so clean. Northern living was so responsive whenever we reached out with questions! Excellent experience! Will definitely stay again!"
