Cute Waterfront House on Lake Superior

Stunning views are yours from this cute house located right on Lake Superior. 2 bedrooms with 1 full bathroom with a bathtub and one-half bath off the master bedroom provide comfort and convenience; with all rooms having a view of the lake. The best room of the house is the windowed and screened-in porch facing the water offering a relaxing spot for watching the sunrise, playing cards, games or simply enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

A comfortable queen-size bed is in the master bedroom and a full-size bed is in the second bedroom; both have ample closet space. A large separate garage offers a sheltered place to park as well as containing the toys available such as two kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), two adult bikes, and a child's bike. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost everything one might need such as pots, pans, blender, coffee maker, crockpot, etc. A full-size washer and dryer are ready for use.

Another fantastic feature of the house location is its proximity to Mink Farm Park and Beach being only 3 doors down or about 300 feet. Big Traverse Bay is known for its great expanse and soft sand providing lots of opportunities to play in the sand or water, or take a stroll down the beach. As if a beach weren't enough, the park provides a playset to amuse the children as well.

There is much open space presenting opportunities for blueberry picking in the late summer or fall and wildlife viewing; sandhill cranes, bald eagles, deer, turkeys, ducks and geese are regularly seen.

Nice place for 3 of us to stay. Was just what we needed to re-connect with each other while enjoying short drives to see the sights of the Keweenaw Peninsula and visit with family. The home was well stocked with all the essentials and the owner was very responsive to our questions.

Beautiful to see/hear Lake Superior just feet away from the window! Very cozy, the beach park just 3 houses down the road was lovely for our kid and dog to run free!

    Northern Lights in the UP
The host, Todd, was very accommodating. He responded to our text immediately. The location is great. The screened in porch is a real bonus to view Lake Superior. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the porch. There are views to the lake from every window too. FYI, there are not a lot of places to eat in the area so I suggest bringing some food to prepare. We would definitely return to this home.

    Idyllic.
Our stay far exceeded our expectations. The surrounding natural beauty is beyond words!! Brilliant clear night skies, the sun rises on the lake-- first row seats, no less! The house was so comfortable, well appointed, and immaculate. Loved ALL the windows facing the lake! The beach is just down the road a bit. It breaks my heart a little to leave such a place. We do hope to return. Thank you, Todd, our gracious host!

I brought my older parents and this place was perfect and the perfect location for the Keweenaw Peninsula and able to explore. It was nice to be able to bring the dog as well. Great little beach down the road. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean and we felt at home it was welcoming and inviting.
