Luxurious beachfront retreat on Lake Superior!

Enjoy stunning sunrises from the deck while listening to Lake Superior waves lap the shoreline. Located on the east side of the Keweenaw Peninsula, near Houghton and Calumet, this house offers panoramic views of Lake Superior and Big Traverse Bay. The pure white sand beach is more than 100’ deep and more than three miles long.

The house offers 3 bedrooms of a king, queen and two twin beds, and two full baths, sun room, outdoor shower, deck and lanai with stunning views of Lake Superior. The open concept kitchen, dining, and living room have beautiful morning light with large windows, making it the ideal place for morning coffee and gatherings. The gourmet kitchen is perfect for holiday gatherings or casual cooking and includes granite counters, Miel dishwasher, Sub-Zero refrigerator, and comes fully stocked with pots, pans, spices, and plenty of cutlery.

The master bedroom and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and custom live edge vanity are on the main floor with two additional bedrooms and a full bath on the lower level. Unique furnishings and decor highlight the areas natural features and give this house a clean, modern open feel. Two kayaks and a stand-up paddleboard are available to enhance your enjoyment of the water. Outdoor shower, hammocks, and deck furniture are available from May - October. Construction was completed in spring 2023.

Wildlife such as bald eagles, sand hill cranes, beavers, geese, ducks, and deer are regularly seen. Great blueberry picking in late summer/early fall on the property, nearby public parks and a pick-your-own blueberry farm just a few miles away. Superb fall colors make autumn a beautiful time to visit. The Keweenaw offers downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, world-class mountain biking, fishing, boating, copper mine tours, two national parks, antiquing, hunting, light houses, beaches, spas, kayaking, historical tours, and much, much more.

The main of the home is elevate and has a walkout deck.We really going out on the desk to see the stars and night sky. One night the Northern Lights were coming and going in flashes it was magical. The place was easy to relax in listening to the water.

Amazing stay on Lake Superior! Location, house and beach were all fantastic! House was accommodating for my husband and I upstairs then another couple and their kids downstairs. Cooked daily and had what we needed. Beach has beautiful sand, kayaks/paddle board were bonus and kids even swam. Large windows on lakeside of house had awesome views. Check-in and out were super easy. Thanks for hosting us:)

Graduation trip!

Beautiful getaway on Lake Superior

This property was a hidden gem! Such beautiful sunrises/sunsets and very peaceful. The property itself was very clean and spacious enough for our whole family. We will be planning on coming back in the summer!

We came up for a quick getaway weekend and the house was everything we could have asked for....it was clean, had enough beds for all of us, and the location on the beach was awesome. Our only complaint was we wish we had more time.

Michigan Tech Winter Carnival/Family Getaway

Wonderful property and a great location for a family gathering. Not to far from Houghton and the University. The views of the Lake were amazing and had a sandy beach. The Lakehouse had everything you needed and was very comfortable. Definitely will be back!

A relaxing getaway on the big lake

I came to ski Mount Bohemia with some friends and Todd's place was clean, well equipped and a great vibe to relax and enjoy views of icy Lake Superior. Tap water was tinted brown due to the well. Todd did say it was safe to drink and a drinking water fountain is provided.

Perfect!

This is a perfect location for a getaway. My family stayed for a short weekend and Todd was so accommodating and responded so quickly to my questions. Best views for sunrises and sunsets! Highly recommend this location if you’re coming to the area. Everything we needed was there for us to use, felt just like home!

Modern Beach house in UP near Lake Linden

This beautiful beach house was the absolute best one yet! Great for 2 and room for 6. Perfect for families, kids or just a pair of old fogies! We had 3 days and nites of gorgeous weather, and a perfect location to check out the Keweenaw Peninsula and all it has to offer. Just enjoying our coffee and listening to the waves was pure enjoyment. We would definitely return to this jewel if we return from the Lone Star state!

Superior Beach Getaway

Our family of 6 had a fantastic 2-night stay. Driving directions and the check-in process were great. The house is beautiful and feels brand new. The beds were very comfortable, and the bedrooms had space to spread out. The bathrooms were nice, and the laundry setup was very convenient. We loved the super-short walk to the beautiful white sand beach and the fire pit area between the house and the dune. The outdoor shower and foot wash station were very helpful. Our family loved sitting on the beach and swimming in the crystal clear Lake Superior water with a sandy bottom. We enjoyed being able to run/hike/bike on the gravel roads directly from the house. A highlight for us was kayaking along the cliffs which are along the lakeshore to the south.We highly recommend exploring Copper Harbor and taking in a sunset on the west coast of the Keweenaw.Our host, Todd, went above and beyond to find paddles for us (we forgot to pack them) and was very responsive to all of our questions.

Fabulous Home and Fabulous Beach

We had a wonderful stay. Todd was quick to communicate. The home was exactly as described and the beach was beautiful. There are books, puzzles, and games for all ages. Child life jackets, extra beach towels, and nature as your playground. We could’ve stayed longer! A true gem!

Family trip

What a gem of a place in the UP. Every last detail was thought of. The house is still finishing up final details but the location was perfect. Having kayaks to use, a fire pit and hammocks was wonderful for my boys 15 and 18. We enjoyed the morning sunrises and star gazing at night. We will be back for sure. Thank you for sharing your little piece of UP heaven with us.
