Mountain Lake Luxury Retreat has been newly renovated by Award-winning designer Dawn Driskill of The Design Gallery in Flat Rock, NC. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, this property boasts fine details that guarantee to transform your vacation into a luxurious retreat. The owner has spared no expense at providing each guest with an experience that rivals the matchless beauty found in the hidden gem that is Lake Lure. Centrally located for day trips to popular mountain towns.
The space
This property boasts high end appliances, including a Bosch induction stove, custom furniture and accessories, dimmers in each room, upscale and artistic lighting and stunning marble and granite features throughout. Located within Rumbling Bald Resort, each guest will also gain access to all the amenities (pools, beach, gym) with this booking. Kitchen is fully-equipped and ready for gourmet cooking, including a space that can transform into an equipped wet bar or coffee bar. Two decks off main living area and master with lake views.

There is an apartment available for rent separately if you need more space. It is newly renovated and is and additional $100/night. It is attached to the house and accessed by stairs.

Luxury stay in the mountains

This property is beautifully remodeled. It was comfortable and clean. The location is remote, far drive from activities that aren’t located at the lake resort.

Overall experience was excellent. Owner easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Condo was very nice and met all of our needs. Easy access to all amenities at Rumbling. Would definitely use again.
