"Clean room, stayed in the whole weekend. Fresh bedding, clean air conditioner, heater and fan. Used all features for a perfect temp during day and night. Felt like staying at a mansion, so roomy and spacious. All the staff worked so hard to give us the best experience. The housekeeping staff were amazingly kind and friendly. The price was a little below the competitive hotels in the area but the friendly and wholesome treatment by everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable. They got everything right, A+."

"The lake was beautiful. Maria, the host, was helpful and responsive. We didn't give it five stars because of the water use restrictions and the tiny shower. Our day on the lake with the rented pontoon was fun and we enjoyed campfires every night."

"The entry way was absolutely freezing! Must’ve been 60°. Our room was actually 60°. It felt and smelled extremely damp. But it might’ve just been the weather in Minnesota. The staff was excellent. Loved the warm chocolate chip cookies at the end of the day. The beds were very soft and comfortable. The pillows were very soft and comfortable could probably have thicker blankets, considering how cold it was in the room when we walked into our room the room was set at 60° but we adjusted it comfortably. Will definitely stay there again!"

"Our stay went great! We loved the charm of the tiny cabin - the tin ceilings and retro red fridge. We had everything we needed to make bacon and eggs in the morning and have breakfast by the fire pit. LOVED the amenities. We played bocce ball and took the paddle boat out. It was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I and we will go back!"

"The setting of the cabin is really nice. The lake is beautiful- we got to hear loons in the morning! There are houses near by, but it still felt like a nice retreat. It’s definitely an older cabin, more rustic than some. For us that was part of the charm. The deck was a really nice place to relax. We wish we could have stayed longer! I think it would be a nice place to spend a long weekend any time of the year."
