The house was only steps away from North Beach which was beautiful and about a mile walk to a variety of stores and restaurants. Yes the house is “little” but was just fine for the two of us. "The amenities were adequate, breakfast was ample, readily available, with a very good selection (Waffles, cold cereals, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, fresh fruits, and more. The bed was comfortable, lighting was sufficient, and temperature controls worked as needed. There were other amenities which we did not need or use, such as a laundry area, vending machines, pool, and lounging area near lobby. Adding benches or chairs outside entrances/exits would be nice to have a place to sit, smoke, use phones etc. This was a last-minute reservation, and we were welcomed in with pleasantries by the check in staff. We did not really have further staff interactions, but I believe the would have been equally pleasant and welcoming."
