"This review is primarily based on the way that the owners behaved. The place was fantastic don't get me wrong but they really took what I had done for granted. First there was no cold plunge made available to which they should have made it clear. Second, there was a electronic gaming device known as the Wii which needed two AA batteries per controller to replace. They only had AAA. So I offered to go out of my own way to get some new batteries not just for us but for the next group of people....

"The room was cozy and very clean with views of the lake. The restaurants have excellent food and drinks with very attentive staff, also the lobby bar is a great place to chill for a night time cocktail. The grounds are gorgeous and was able to spend a relaxing day at the pool. The Windermere is a wonderful get away and all staff are extremely helpful, we shall be back."

"We loved the room we stayed in, everything was clean, staff was nice. Would have loved some amenities to be more in the room such as a microwave to not go all the way downstairs to have to use one, as well as more parking. That being said those are all nit picky things, the place and stay was excellent!"
