"We had a fantastic and peaceful weekend at this cozy, historic cabin. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the sun rise with coffee in hand, and even painted the view. We had fun playing games to pass the time in the evening and our son brought his telescope to look at the night sky. The stars are so bright you can see the milky way with the naked eye. Gorgeous! Kitchen was stocked with everything you need to fix a meal without improvising. We did have dinner at Hyatt Resort restaurant (pizza is great and they have GF crust too that's homemade, chili also got high marks!) - if you go, be sure to get a huckleberry shake for dessert. Took a hike along the PCT down to Little Hyatt Lake...lots to do in the area and we'll be back!"

"This place was so cute! We only stayed one night while passing through so didn’t get to explore the area, but it looked beautiful. They had everything we needed and you can tell they take great care of the place and want to make sure you have the best experience!"

"The cabin was fine , the two decks very much needed improvement, otherwise ,clean and very nice inside. Being in the white firs was gorgeous, and Lake of the Woods was beautiful."

"Beautiful property and handsomely decorated. We were VERY comfortable with good bed linens and comfortable mattresses (we all agreed on that)! The house is stocked well if you were staying for a few days, you could cook, wash, do laundry just as easily as at home. Give this place a second look as you will be happy you did."

"Everything was great except we weren’t told the washing machine would be unavailable until late in the game. There were empty beer cans in a dresser drawer upstairs. A rat jumped from the rolled up door outside by the fireplace and ran up my adult son’s leg as he was sitting at the table. Fortunately, he didn’t mind. It was a cute rat. The listing mentioned a canoe, but there wasn’t one. In spite of these things we had a great time and loved the location and peacefulness of the place. I just wanted to leave honest feedback so you know ways to improve the experience for your guests. The layout is perfect for individual families all staying together. The kitchen had just about everything you could ever need and the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever used."

"The property was great! Very clean, nice breakfast, good access to water for our water bottles, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fitness center. Wish the staff could have accommodated a cheaper second room for us (when my first night with my snoring mom was a trial :)); it was a bit of a bummer to be told I needed to pay max rates when the hotel still had 15% capacity left and I’d already paid for another room… but that’s the way it goes during peak season, I guess! Otherwise, great stay."
