"Loved this hotel. We didn't spend much time there, but we were always happy to arrive in the evening. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel felt like it was located on the furthest end. Everything we wanted to do was a 15-20 minute ride (but we were on vacation, so who cares). They could benefit from at least one more restaurant option and maybe cheaper coffee. However, we really enjoyed our time and would happily stay at this hotel again."

"We couldn’t have picked a better property to host our friends. It was their first trip to Missouri and they were blown away by the unique Treetop design and they loved living in the trees. The property was exactly as described and had plenty of room for 4 adults. We’ll have to plan another stay to take advantage of the fall foliage."

"This house was super clean and an excellent fit for our multi-aged group of nine with enough bedrooms, bathrooms, and especially seating for all in the dining/living space. It came with ample supplies, i.e. toilet paper, trash bags, dish detergent, paper towels. I especially enjoyed the separate coffee station (full pot and individual cup Keurig) which freed up counter space in the kitchen for cooking and prep. Kitchen is well stocked with glassware, flatware, dishes, utensils and cookware. It does have a steep driveway and quite a few stairs to the dock and stairs to the lower level living area. All bedrooms are on the upper floor level with the driveway. Would stay here again!"

"Clean, great A/C, near Bagnell Dam and lots of food choices, fairly private and a nice sunset view from the covered porch. Perfect location, for our lake weekend!"

"This was our 2nd time staying and it’s always a nice place to stay and right in the middle of everything. The only problem we had was the gate code would not work for us so we had to park at the top of the road for one night. Otherwise very easy communication and everything there you would need for your stay."

"Wow! This property checked all the boxes for our weekend getaway. Suoer Duper Clean! It was so cozy. The decor and the whole vibe of the condo was perfectly curated. The views from the balcony were amazing. The patio furniture on the deck was so comfortable. The bed & pillows were top quality. There was one day that was pretty chiili and there were a few cozy throws in a basket next to the couch that were great to wrap up in. Southwood Shores is in a great location, especially having the convenience store at the entrance. Also a short distance from many attractions and restaurants. We will definitely book this property again! Also - Hosts were easy to contact and answered a phone call right away, when we had a question upon arrival."
