The layout of the kitchen, dining, and living room was great to keep our group together. The house is spacious and yet still cozy. We really enjoyed our stay. Our hostess Anne was wonderful!
Our family had a wonderful time and the house was perfect. Everything you could need is available to enjoy an ADK vacation with family. Highly recommend and would stay again.
We loved the Arrowhead Lodge. A group of friends/family gathered there. With so many bedrooms and bathrooms, there was space for everyone. It's gorgeous and the kitchen is well stocked. Highly recommend - and we will be back next year!
We’ve stayed here multiple times. It’s a great house - nice layout and location. Ann & team are easy to work with and proactively communicate. Some of our favorite ADK weekends have been at Arrowhead Lodge.
Spacious house with plenty of room for a large group. Location was great for our group - close to town and to skiing. The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
We had a wonderful time staying at Arrow Head Lodge! We are a big group, 10 adults and 7 children but the location of this house and the space it offered made it a truly wonderful experience. We enjoyed the short car ride to the mountain for skiing as well as the close proximity to town. We would definitely stay here again!
We are a crosscountry ski group, we enjoyed the accomodations and proximity to the trails. With the help of the property manager we were able to get a reservation at a resturant in town.
We opted for the week before Christmas because the house was available. It had all the amenities we could ask for and then some!!! So thankful to have had the opportunity to stay and hope to return again to LP next year!!!
We rented the house for a long weekend in February as a ski trip. Three families, 7 adults and 8 children ranging from 3 to 15 years old. Anne was an incredible host, very kind, proactive and responsive. The house was perfect for our gathering, the kids spent a lot of time playin pool and ping pong in the garage after skiing. The accommodations were excellent and the location too. Highly recommend it, we will be back next year for sure.
Very clean and well kept property. Amenities were perfect.House was perfect with great layout. My son and 12 of his friends were able to continue there annual ski trip. They had an entire finished basement to enjoy while we were able to continue adulting upstairs with friends. Plenty of room for everyone.
The house was in a great location only being 1 mile from town. We had four families and plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub especially when it was lightly snowing out. Very relaxing!! Ann and Mea always do a fabulous job.
My husband and I decided we wanted our whole bridal party to stay in a big Adirondack house in Lake Placid and it was the best decision we made for our wedding weekend! It was able to house everyone, (14 of us) and we had a great time! So close to downtown and so many amenities like the hot tub, pool table, ping-pong table, 2 large living room areas and the perfect kitchen it was absolutely gorgeous!!! We are already planning another trip with our family!! Highly recommend!!
Large cozy home with many rooms and large family areas. Easy to get to any venues by car in Lake Placid or Seneca Lake. We had meals prepared from nearby restaurants. Played our own Olympic games and used fire pit for samores. Walked around mirror lake, and and played at the beach. Main street is great for shopping.
As a professional mountain bike race team we are a group of 12. Each one of us needs his own bed and that's where this large home ticked all the boxes. Beautiful built with a large kitchen and dinner table it's exactly what we are looking for traveling the world. Apart of the excellent house we really appreciated the friendly communication with our host! All in all NEXTLEVEL
We recently stayed at Arrowhead for a short time with family but we so wish it could have been longer. The property is amazing. Upon arrival we were given the door code by Ann the property manager who I must say was an absolute pleasure to work with. We entered the home seeing beautiful autumn decorations a very homey touch! The home was extremely clean, bright and open. The beds were comfortable the rooms had plenty of space. We can’t say enough about the property. I only hope we have the chance to go back soon.
We usually go away to upstate NY to go hiking but decided this year to include the wives so they may experience the beautiful Adirondack. It was hard to find a home that accommodated 7 couples with separate bedrooms and at least a queen-sized bed. This home offered that but with a king-size bed, and plenty of room so no one feels cramped in. The home offers all the amenities you need to make you feel at home. We cooked our hearts out, served the wives and they enjoyed every minute of it. Now they want to go back every year. Lake Placid is a beautiful town and a nice home to stay in makes it even better. Too bad it rained one day so we could not enjoy the fire pit
Our multi generational group of 11 adults and a 15 month old were very comfortable in this roomy house. Host provided a pack n play and stroller which made packing so much easier. Great grandparents were in master suite on the first floor. Children grandchildren and great grandson chose rooms on the lower and second floors. We used the kitchen most nights to prepare dinner and one night we grilled a bbq. Had a fire pit two nights and made s’mores. We were central to all activities and gas/ food stores were close by. Host was very responsive to all questions and concerns. All in all it was a wonderful family getaway in the mountains. We love Lake Placid.

A Fair Review
We stayed in this 6,000 sq. ft. home over Thanksgiving with family aged 8 to 72. While we had fun, the house was a mix of positives and negatives.Positives:The location was fantastic—just 5 minutes from everything—and we felt very safe. The yard was perfect for Thanksgiving snow football games, and the fireplace was a cozy retreat.Beds were very comfortable, and the host was responsive, quickly addressing smaller issues like delivering a coffee grinder within an hour.Negatives:Cleanliness was lacking: utensil drawers had crumbs, bedspreads and pillows were heavily stained, and the light fixtures were caked with dust. The home needs maintenance: broken tiles in the kitchen, windows with stripped cranks, and living room and dining furniture that felt unstable and uncomfortable. The hot tub smelled so bad that after the first day, we avoided it, likely due to the cover. The bunk room was advertised, but we weren’t told the bunk beds had been broken by a prior guest. This left four kids disappointed. There was plenty of communication prior that this could have been disclosed.Amenities like the pool table and ping-pong table were in disrepair and barely useable, and only one TV remote worked for the basement and main floor tv.The home has potential, but it desperately needs a refresh and better upkeep. Despite the issues, we enjoyed our stay, but we’d only return if these problems were addressed.
Ann was a tremendous host and an even better person. She made sure our group was taken care of and was always available if anything was needed. The house has everything and more and I would highly recommend this stay.
