I got in around 1am just wanted to go to sleep. Front desk says I have to go move my car because the 4 car spots on the left are for electric cars… well there are 2 chargers and 4 spots I parked in the non charger spot. But still those spots are reserved for electric cars… ugh I just want to sleep it’s been a long trip.
Then I walk in the room and am thinking ah water sounds nice and you can’t drink tap water in CA. But nooo they want $5 for a bottle of water from their terrible attempt at a mini bar. I’m thinking I need to just stay at cheap hotels from now on at least they get the basics right. They gave me 4 bottle of regular water at the crappy hotel I was stuck at the night before. ( is it that hard to spend $3.99 for a 32 pack?) I had water in my car but I’ll be damned if I’m walking back out there.
I then wake up at 5:30 in the morning because the blinds are these modern cloth things that down block any light when you shut them and there is no blackout curtain because that would ruin the modern look they are going for. So I got in at 1am I’m thirsty tired and I had to wake up with the sun. And the bathroom door doesn’t close all the way!! It’s a barn door style that just hangs there and doesn’t actually shut the whole width of the doorway! My girlfriend lovvved that and there is no fan which make sense since the door doesn’t shut all the way haha
Overall not a great experience the sheets were nice. Beds were rocks and my back is killing mr
