The Inn at Truckee
The Inn at Truckee is clean and centrally located for easy access to the historic town center, new business district and bazillion trails in the area. The continental breakfast is good and the staff are helpful and friendly. I only stay at the Inn at Truckee when I’m in Truckee, CA.

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe
We ended up going on a diff weekend due to storm blocking roads. Nice they allowed us to change despite policy. However few problems with our stay 1. Housekeeping. We asked for extra comforter / duvet as we had 4 guests in that each preferred own blanket. Multiple times had to re-ask as housekeeping ...
