"Room was small but very well appointed. Our room had a nice view of St. Bernards Church and Lake Flower beyond. Breakfast downstairs was excellent!! The parking garage was also a pleasant surprise. Car was nice and clean after the nights snow storm. Can’t say enough good things."

She went out of her way to make us feel warm and welcome, and by doing that she secured us as annual customers and guess because this will definitely be your annual getaway for that Christmas Eve feel at this hotel is the best pic in all of Lake Placid with beautiful views, clean rooms and a wonderful staff."

"Beautiful cozy spot, host was great in welcoming us and leaving a light on as we were arriving after dark. Host checked on us the night we arrived to make sure all was good and we were settled in. "

"Outstanding setting, location and accommodations. Felt like home. The space was the perfect size for myself, my spouse and our son. Could have fit another kid comfortably. The bedrooms and living space were very comfortable, well decorated, well maintained and clean. Our son loved the bunk bed. Having access to a full kitchen with range, fridge, dishwasher, island and ample dishes, glassware and utensils was a bonus - we cooked all our meals. All the appliances were newer, clean and in great shape. Rainbow Lake was so quiet and peaceful. We kayaked for several hours on a holiday weekend and saw virtually no boat traffic. Close enough to take advantage of Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, Paul Smith's VIC and High Peaks hiking, but far enough away to avoid the tourist traffic. Suzanne was a very gracious, accommodating and responsive host. It was nice to have access to kayaks and canoes. All-in-all we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice."
