"I enjoy staying at the Anchorage because it is very good value for money, close to the footbridge and shops. Paul the manager is a very friendly person to deal with. One thing however the oven had not been cleaned from the previous guest but I do not cook any way so that did not trouble me. I look forward to my next stay there."

"This little cabin looks like it has had an almost complete makeover to update it to a very comfortable standard. Everything practically new. Well equipped and lots of extra touches like spreads, treats and samples of local produce that were appreciated. Comfy beds and plenty of hot water. Suited us perfectly but it is really on the outskirts of town (need a car to get anywhere) and very quiet. Only one other cabin with occupants on the block while we were there, and the grounds could do with some maintenance. Worked well enough for a base to return to at night."
