"Room was clean an reasonably furnished but very small and cramped for 2 double beds and 2 adults. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Many nearby restaurants, stores, ski shops, coffee shops, liquor stores, etc. Also there is a municipal bus stop with a shuttle bus that goes up to Mammoth. Free WiFi worked well. Free parking. However, there was excess noise when occupants in room above walked around and the bathroom fan was very noisy. No breakfast, though there is free coffee/tea in the morning and vending machines in the lobby. And the front desk won't check your bags. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at the one-bedroom cabin at The Tamarack Lodge. Although we arrived at the end of April, there was still a significant amount of snow. The cabin was very cozy, with a comfortable queen sized bed and a sofa bed. The pellet stove provided ample warmth, making it a perfect retreat. The kitchen was a convenient addition, allowing us to prepare easy meals. Additionally, the cabin is conveniently located about 20 minutes away from a nearby ski resort, providing easy access to winter sports enthusiasts."
