Everything about this property was wonderful. Cleanliness, communication with Gail was prompt, she even left a bottle of wine and some cookies on our arrival! We were close to restaurants and Flathead Lake. The view from the cabin was really nice. If I ever come back to Montana this is where I would stay. Loved it here.

The property was perfect for our needs. We played in a pickleball tournament and location was a shot drive to facility. Our host was awesome leaving us gifts upon our check in. The neighborhood was quiet and full of wildlife. We sat on the deck and enjoyed a great view of Flathead lake and mountains. Would absolutely stay again, many thanks to our host.

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Jack and Gail’s rental. It was so comfortable, clean, and the bed was very cozy. The AC unit was amazing considering it was in the 90’s during our stay. Would recommend if you are visiting Montana or wanting a cool place to escape to with a beautiful lake view, fire pit, picnic table & easy access to a lake!

Very clean, and private, I never physically saw the host but I talked to Gail on the phone and she was very pleasant and helpful, everything was provided for and accessible. I was very pleased and highly recommend this property to future guests.

This was a great little home base for exploring Flathead Lake. Love the view from the front porch, and it was very clean and had a handy kitchenette for preparing food. A few minor things that might be helpful to know before booking - there's no wifi access (not an issue for us, but could be for others) and there are a couple of stairs in the bathroom to get up to the toilet and shower. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

I was very pleased with the little cabin. I loved the view and the outdoor chairs and table. I felt welcomed and that the owners cared by the treats they left. And I loved the easy arrival plans and private quiet location. Everything one could possibly need was provided.

The photos do not do it justice, I will just say that right off the bat. Now that I am home, all I want to do is go back to Lakeside, and the Heller's little cabin was a significant portion of my being able to relax and enjoy my vacation. It was quite, clean, and convenient. Everything in Lakeside is about a 10 minute walk from the cabin (though I am lazy and drove most times). It is beautiful and peaceful and just what all my family and friends hoped I would find when taking a long overdue vacation from the insanity that is life. Thank you so VERY much!

Book somewhere else! We went to the door to get our key. The owner came to the door drunk and reeked of alcohol in the middle of the day. He acted bothered by our questions. The shed is located directly next to their home. The place was filthy. Dust covered every surface and there was still a poop stain in the toilet and hair under the lid. We refused to stay and contacted VRBO for a refund. This left us scrambling trying to find a place to stay last minute. Thankfully we did, but I would have slept in my car before we stayed there.

Loved the space with great lake view and walkability, could have used more instructions around extra towels in dresser (only realized when checking out), bringing your own axe for firewood, adjusting temperature in unit with heaters vs room thermostat. The listing shows an outdated photo of kitchen - would have been helpful to know there are 2 stovetop electric burners as a primary method of cooking. Overall, a pleasant stay, comfy bed, just could have used more instructions and a more accurate listing to help us plan and prepare better.

All I can say is WOW! This was a wonderful place! A true hidden gem! The pictures don't do this quaint little bungalow justice, it's situated just up the hill from the lake, less than .3 miles. The little home has pocket views of the lake, and an easy walk down to the restaurants, marina and amazing little park area. The home was clean and well stocked with fresh towels, clean sheets, and a wonderful forest vibe. I highly recommend a stay and we plan on coming back next time we are at Flathead visiting family.
