The modernly furnished holiday apartment “Auszeit am See” is part of the “Residenz am See” holiday complex, with private access to the “Flacher Ziest” swimming lake and a beautiful location in the middle of the forest.

From the Güstrow/Teterow (A19) highway exit, it’s about three kilometres through the “Mecklenburgische Schweiz und Kummerower See” nature park. The last kilometre leads (on a paved road) through the forest until you reach “Residenz am See.” A private parking space directly in front of the house ensures short distances. The holiday rental itself is located on the mezzanine level and can be reached after just seven steps.

From the hallway, you can access all the rooms in the apartment.

From the large living room—which features a corner sleeper sofa, a dining table for four, and a kitchenette (with a large refrigerator and dishwasher)—you can step out onto the approximately 12-square-meter covered balcony, where four people can comfortably eat, play, have a drink, or simply relax at the table. The view of the greenery and the absolute silence are interrupted at most by birds like woodpeckers or the rustling of foxes or hares in the forest. And if the weather isn’t cooperating, you can make yourself comfortable in the cosy and modern living room area. How about a relaxing film night? The smart TV (internet-enabled TV) offers you a huge selection of films via Netflix and Amazon Prime, in addition to regular TV programming. Are you in the mood for music instead? Then simply use the Bluetooth speaker. The Bluetooth speaker is also portable. Please just return it before your departure.

The large bedroom features a double bed (180 cm), a cosy armchair for relaxing, and a small children’s corner. Little ones are welcome!

The bathroom has a bathtub, which is also very comfortable for showering. There’s also a washing machine in the bathroom, which you’re welcome to use free of charge. You’ll find a small clothes drying rack in the apartment.

You can reach the “Flacher Ziest” swimming and fishing lake directly from the property. After just a few steps, you’ll be greeted by a beautiful view of the lake. Take a dip in the cool water (there’s a designated entry and exit point), bring your SUP board and paddle around, or simply enjoy the view from one of the cosy benches on the dock. If you let your gaze wander, you’ll see nature in its purest form. The only building you’ll spot is Vietgest Castle. Cultural events are also held here, by the way.
