Location and checkin process was great. Other than that, we did our best to clean up after ourselves and leave the cottage in good condition, but there were several issues that were already present upon our arrival. I’ve attached photos for reference. When we checked in, we found that: We were missing towels, bedsheets, and blankets, and there were no sheets on one of the beds. Some linens and towels were still wet in the washing machine. Sheets left on the floor. The floors were dirty and some dishes were still dirty. The Wi-Fi was not working for the entire weekend. The password provided was incorrect, and we were unable to connect despite trying throughout our stay. Broken chair in the backyard & The upstairs curtain rod was broken (did not want to be liable in case) Overall, it appeared that the cottage had not been properly cleaned or prepared before our arrival. We did our best to take care of things ourselves, but these were issues present from the beginning of our stay. Following our stay, I reached out to them directly but no response to our concerns.

We were celebrating Mothers’ Day with our extended family while visiting great grandma (Nana B, 97 yo) in Forest who is aging in her home. Four adults and four kids 14 yo with our dog, Ellie, stayed at Lazy Bear in Grand Bend. It was perfect for our 3-day weekend.
