Nous avons adoré notre séjour a la quinta da Timpeira au milieu des vignes et des vergers de cerisiers et chataigniers. Excellent séjour. Cet endroit est magnifique. Nous sommes arrivé un peu tard et le chef est resté sur place pour nous cuisiner un excellent repas de fruit de mer accompagné du vin de leur vignoble, tout ça pour un prix très modique La proprio s’est empressée de nous reserver un bateau à Pinhao ce qui a grandement facilité notre visite dans la vallée du douro Bref, un endroit à découvrir, très propre et personnel très accueillant.

Conveniently located to Duoro

My wife and I chose this location for an evening stay after driving through the Duoro valley from Marvao. It was conveniently located, easy to find, clean and the check-in and hospitality were very good. Unfortunately we arrived fairly late, the weather didn't cooperate, and we stayed on a Monday evening so many of the local attractions and restaurants were not open. We did take a long walk through Lamego and it was a pretty, albeit mostly empty town.

Great hotel in a nice location

We only stayed there one night in our trip around the Douro river. The place is nice and very convenient located to us as we were coming from a visit at Quinta da Pacheca which is quite close to it. The room was nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. The only thing is that it was a bit noise in the morning as our room was quite close to the breakfast room. A part from that everything was perfect.

Pleasant Night in the Country

The property was quite a bit further out of town than I thought was indicated in its information so there was not much in the way of food options. We decided to have dinner at the property which we thought was very expensive for what we got. Breakfast was good but the server seemed to disappear so times were not restocked. The room was clean and comfortable. We were there for just one night and in the fall so didn’t use any of the amenities.

A charming place to stay. The staff were lovely! Everything at dinner and breakfast came from the vegetable garden and the wine was from the vineyard. The rooms are comfortable if a little in need of a refresh. The Quinta is set in beautiful countryside and I would definitely go again
